Service to our Community is at the heart of our Kiwanis Club.

Our goal in Kiwanis is to change the world, one child and one community at a time. Above, Lucia, age 3, enjoys our annual Breakfast with Santa.

Kiwanis sponsors sports teams each year. Member Phil coaches Team Kiwanis, Boys 10U Coach Pitch Little League Team.

Builder’s Club Members at Saint Catherine of Siena School make PB&J Sandwiches for the homeless shelter.

Throughout the year, the Kiwanis Club collects food for the Caldwell Food Pantry. Members Jeff, Michael, and Bill work with members of our Circle K Club at Caldwell University to keep the pantry’s shelves stocked.

For the past five years, the club has worked with SafeKids NJ to sponsor a Car Sear Safety Event in town. Each year, the event has gotten larger and helped more parents ensure their children are safe. Members Garrett, Chris, Ashley, Jeff, Jessica, and Anthony are showing registering participants.

Kiwanis supports and volunteers at the Essex County Opioid Awareness Walk each year. Above, member Nancy serves the walkers hot food.

Kiwanis donated funds to sponsor a safe swimming program at the YMCA. Members Jeff and Diane present a check to the head of the Metropolitan YMCA.

In 2022, the Kiwanis Club prepared fifty complete Thanksgiving meals (including a giftcard for a turkey!) to families in need in our community. Pictures are Eli, Jeff, Garrett, Jessica, and Liam helping to hand out the donations.

The Kiwanis Club hosted its first annual Lunch with the Easter Bunny in 2022. Above are children and friends of members with the Bunny.

Members Ashley and Anthony traveled to Jamaica to volunteer with the Kiwanis Club of Guy’s Hills at a medical clinic.

The Kiwanis Club volunteers at the local Egg Hunt, sponsored by the West Caldwell Recreation Department, handing out prizes to the children.

The Kiwanis Club donated money to equip all of the ambulances in town with restraints for children. Members Jeff and Jessica are pictured with their kids who demonstrated the new restraints.

The Kiwanis Club donated 200 dictionaries to third graders in the Caldwell-West Caldwell School District as a part of the Dictionary Project.

The Kiwanis Club was a proud sponsor of the First Presbyterian Church Golf Outing.
